Pace Di Donna Schrader Galleries and Galerie Chastel-Maréchal present L’Appartement: Galerie Chastel-Maréchal Invites Pace Di Donna Schrader Galleries, a collaborative exhibition bringing masterworks of 20th-century art into dialogue with exceptional examples of French design, from the Art Deco period to landmark works of the mid-century.

On view from 18 October through 1 November 2026, the exhibition will unfold throughout Galerie Chastel-Maréchal’s private apartment on Rue de Rivoli, where art and design will be interwoven within an intimate setting that evokes the character and sensibility of a private collection of the highest caliber. This collaboration brings together two galleries whose distinct areas of expertise are united by an emphasis on connoisseurship, quality, and provenance, extending this shared approach into the domestic realm.

L’Appartement: Galerie Chastel-Maréchal Invites Pace Di Donna Schrader Galleries considers collecting in its entirety, looking beyond individual works to explore how art and design coexist within a collection. For the presentation, Paris-based Galerie Chastel-Maréchal invited Pace Di Donna Schrader Galleries to curate a selection of 20th-century artworks in dialogue with furniture, ceramics, sculpture, and decorative objects selected by Aline Chastel. The installation will bring together works by artists including Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Jean Dubuffet alongside design objects by Jean Royère, Alberto Giacometti, and Gilbert Poillerat, among others, creating unexpected connections across disciplines, periods, and artistic movements. By bringing paintings, furniture, sculpture, and decorative objects together in a domestic setting, the presentation reflects how collectors actually live with these works and how their placement in relation to one another can shape the way each is experienced.

Coinciding with the installation, both galleries will be featured in Paris’s major October fairs. Pace Di Donna Schrader Galleries will participate in Art Basel Paris at the Grand Palais from 21–25 October, while Galerie Chastel-Maréchal will exhibit at Design Miami/Paris at L’hôtel de Maisons from 20–25 October.
